Bridal Gift

This weekend I am going to a celebration for a young lady that is getting married this month. It is not a shower, but it is a celebration with a theme. Everyone invited is to bring a small gift that has to do with Fall, Thanksgiving, Winter or Christmas. We also have to take a themed snack, so since my gift is obviously for fall...my snack will be too. I am going to make Pumpkin Pie Fudge.
Anyway, her is a picture of the shadow box frame I made for her. The sentiment in the corner says "Fall in love ....again and again."

I plan on wrapping this gift in kraft paper that I will stamp leaves on. I made a bow for the top that she can actually wear as a pin on her coat this fall if she wants to. I found the idea in the last issue of Country Living magazine. I altered it a bit though by stamping my SU Illuminations "Joy" stamp on shrinky dink plastic, cutting it out with a giga scallop circle punch and baking it. It turned out to be a really nice center for the velvet ribbon. I also used wool felt for the cut out leaves and flower (using the cuttlebug). I wish you could see the picture more clearly, because it really did turn out nice.

Have a super Friday everyone!

I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. Psalm 9:1
