Head Over Heels in Love with Jesus

ok, here is the update on the women's conference. Thank you to Laura and to Bev for asking!
It was soooooo good! Friday night Sharon Daugherty was very good. She is a great speaker and you know it is coming straight from the heart. But then Saturday came and Babbie Mason blew me away! Wow, what a powerful woman! She spoke in the morning and she was so funny. She had some really great things to share. Then she gave a concert in the afternoon. She has just released her 20th cd! The cd is titled "Everything" and it is really good. I am listening to it as I am writing this post and I gotta say, if you have a chance, try and get a copy. You'll love it. For example, the song "Strong Tower"...if you listen and it does not make you want to snap your fingers, or clap your hands and praise God, let me know so that I can pray for you! ;)
Carol McLeod said she has already started planning for next years conference, so start to save your pennies and maybe you can come!

Next, here is the other reason I have not been blogging much. As I mentioned in a previous post, I am trying to get ready for a craft show being held on April 26th. So here are a few more of the projects I have been working on.
The first one is a felt journal that I found at our craft store. Thought the colors were so nice and bright and would be great for a young girl. I stamped on the felt using stazon and the stamp is from SU's set "Love Matters"

The next one is a box from Maya Road that I painted and then covered in paper. Added rub ons to the vellum front and a pretty yellow ribbon. I think I am going to stamp a couple of onsies and put them on the inside.

This next one is a flip book that I think turned out really cute. It was a kit I bought, but I used totally different paper than what the kit provided.

I actually have a box filled with stuff that I have done, but don't have time to post all of the pictures.

ok, last thing. I have a friend that has a chocolate candy business every Easter and in his boxes of chocolates, there were nice little white cardstock dividers that I snatched up. It is a really nice weight and is glossy on one side. I have lots that I can share if anyone is interested. It would be perfect for the images or sentiments on the front of your cards! Just email me and let me know your address and I will send it out.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by to visit! I really appreciate it!
