This is for today's challenge on splitcoast. And this is the story behind the card:
There is a single mom who is 19 years old going through something horrible right now.
Her 9 month old son Christopher was diagnosed with liver cancer. They are looking for a match to do a partial liver transplant, but in the meantime, he is undergoing chemotherapy. Apparently when the mom (Katie) found out people wanted to send her cards, she cried! So if there is anyone reading this post that can send a card of encouragement to this new mom, she really could use it right now. You can email me for the address.
I ended up using the same scripture that I used for my son a few days ago. Just thought it was fitting.
Have a great day!

I love that flower with the button and the scripture is perfect, Sandy. Of course I would like to send a card. How does a 9mo. old have liver cancer, I have never heard that before. Do you want me to send the card to you or directly to her? Have a good night. Laura
Thank you for the sweet comment you left on my blog! I love reading some of your older posts and seeing all of the scriptures! :)
Hi, Sandy! Like the new badge! ;) Is it too late to send a card? Just email me and I'll send that precious thing a card immediately. One doesn't have to look very far to see life from a very different lens. She'll be in my prayers.
Love that card and the scripture. would love to send a card =)
Your card is amazing! I love the felt embellishments. I'm so sorry for this young mom, and would love to send her a card of comfort and encouragement. (You can email the address to me at PickleTree [at] aol [dot] com.)
I would love to mail a crad. I will be emailing you right away for the address.
