This sure doesn't look like a cookie cutter!

I had to run to AC Moore yesterday in search of a cookie cutter. Once there, I had to stop in the paper isle of course. And lucky for me, they were having a sale on the open stock paper...4 for $1.00. Now, I really do not need any more paper (Have a paper obsession), but who can resist a good sale, right?
The paper that I have used on these cards is from American Crafts a la Carte. I could not wait to get home to make something with it. On this first one, I used my craft knife to cut out the flower petals so that I could bend them up a little. Then I poked two holes in the center of the flower to tie the twine which attaches the tag. The cut out border was done with a fiskers border punch.

For this card, I hand stitched around the green border using a white cotton thread. The image panel is raised and I used the paper piercer to outline the flower and also added holes to the flowers center.

Still alot to learn about the new camera, but even for someone who does not know how to use it yet, these pictures came out 100% better than my other pictures!

Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man and he will add to his learning. Proverbs 9:9

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
