I do not normally participate in the challenges on the weekend, but when I looked on splitcoast, I knew I wanted to do today's challenge. Isn't it funny how a card can come together so easily for you just by seeing a pattern on something such as dishes?
This card was made using kraft cardstock from SU. I used my cuttlebug embossing folder for the inspiration piece and inked it with close to cocoa also from SU. I then used a sizzix die to cut out the leaves which are wool felt. The sentiment is from SU's set Refuge and Strength and in case you cannot read it, it says "In those times I can't seem to find GOD, I rest in the assurance He knows how to find me".
And speaking of SU...I used to be a demonstrator a couple of years ago, but only as a hobbiest, not an actual demo. So, I then left to go with another company as they had lower quota's to meet which was easier for me to handle. Well, 4 catalogs later, I have switched back to SU! I have learned that you cannot put a price on something you truly love. ;)
Please keep those prayers going for my mother in law. We received a call last night saying she did not have a good day yesterday. And now her tests have been rescheduled for the 26th. It is so hard to be patient when you are waiting to find out any kind of news!
being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. Colossians 1:11-12

Aw this is such a lovely card and I got so emotional reading it too... thinking of you MIL and praying she has the courage and strength to get through and wishing her as little pain as possible.
Has the u know what for you know who arrived???
Wow, this is STUNNING! You really did an amazing job with this! I love using felt but for some reason I haven't pulled it out lately. I need to do that! :) Thanks for the inspiration!
Oh, I love this. I've been wanting to play with felt and my Big Shot, and you're giving lots of inspiration. Love what you did to accent the embossed background with ink. Really good job of that. I wish we could spend a day in my craftroom playing and swapping ideas! Just so glad God brought us together over the miles this way.
